Yao Ming is a rock star in China. He's got songs dedicated to him. He is a leading vote getter in the All-Star game every year. He is the face of a nation, playing in the NBA. But he's hurt. Out for the year. He has a stress fracture in his left foot and the Rockets are likely to announce he will have season-ending surgery.
