Cavs Have the 'Mo'Jo Tonight Versus Reddless Bucks

Not a whole lot to talk about again, as the Bucks (3-5) dropped their 3rd straight game of the early NBA season. Tonight, they started slowly against the 6-2 Cleveland Cavaliers and while regaining the lead for a short period of time late in the 3rd quarter but would eventually fall 93-99. Here's the Box Score.

Of course the big stat of the game was the fact LeBron James put up a 41 spot on the Bucks, the 3rd consecutive game he has scored 41 against the Bucks. So much for Jefferson's defense against LeBron.

It was also Mo Williams first game against his old squad. He finished with 16 points on 9 of 10 shooting from the charity stripe.

As for the Bucks, again Bogut was almost non-existent due to foul trouble finishing with only 5 points on 2-7 shooting. Jefferson led the Bucks with 19 points. As for my assessment in this loss. 38% shooting from the field, just ugly and a TO differential of 16 to 9 not in the Bucks favor. CV had another double double but he shot just 4-15 from the field.

The Bucks play an injury depleted San Antonio Spurs (1-4) team at home on Wednesday night. No word on whether Michael Redd will play, I would be surprised if he did. But dynamic guards, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili will not play for the Spurs.

TBC Buck of the Game: Charlie Villanueva for 12 points, 10 boards, and 4 assists. I have a hard time giving it to Jefferson for his inflated 19 points (free 3 at the end of the game) and allowing LeBron to score 41, or to Ridnour or Villanueva for their poor shooting. But in the end, Villanueva picked up the rebounding void left by Bogut and managed 3 O-boards.

Not a bad title, Bear. I still like my suggestion of "Checkmate: Rooks Can't Take Down King" a little better though.

i can live with villanueva since he carried us through the first, but ridnour didnt shoot too bad considering many of his shots were just desperation heaves in the fourth. plus the cavs would have smoked us in the third if luke wasnt on fire.
