Turner missed the first game of this series this season, and he came back strong chipping in with 15 points for the Buckeyes. Trevon Hughes continued his hot streak scoring 18 points for the Badgers, but it wasn't enough in a 60-51 losing effort. Next up for the good guys is a home date against Michigan on Wednesday the 20th.
Marquette on the other hand had just about as good of a day as you can hope for, destroying the Providence Friars 93-63. In what is a rare feat for MU this season, they had three guys score more than 20 points: Maurice Acker (23), Lazar Hayward (22), and Darius Johnson-Odom (22). Next up for them is a trip to DePaul before a big matchup against Syracuse this weekend.
So it was yet another weekend where the Badgers and Golden Eagles had opposite results, but still both teams are looking good on the path to a decent seed in the tournament.
