Badgers Come in at #16

It wasn't their most impressive week in history, but the Badgers did what good teams are supposed to do, and that is to just win basketball games. Close games against Michigan and Penn State may have given Badgers fans a bit of a panic, but they didn't hurt Wisconsin in the polls. In both sets of the college basketball rankings, the Badgers have climbed back up to the number sixteen spot.

So the polls weren't harsh on Wisconsin this week, but their big game against Purdue this weekend will have a big bearing on where they fall next Monday. Purdue was as high as #4 before the Badgers knocked them off a few weeks ago at the Kohl Center, but the Boilermakers have been playing well since their brief bump in the road. Purdue is ranked #10 in the AP Poll and #12 in the ESPN/USA Today Poll, respectively, so needless to say this is going to be a big game. Live coverage will be on ESPN this Thursday at 6pm.
