The Andrew Bogut Show

You should be happy Andrew, you just won the Eastern Conference Player of the Week award. The Bucks were 3-0 this week beating Boston, Utah, and Indiana. During those games Bogut averaged a double double. He led the team with 19.3 points, 13.7 rebounds, and 3.7 blocks in those three games. The number that really stands out are those 3.7 blocks a game. This team needs to play good defense, because some nights the offense is not all there. Thankfully, Bogut has been providing that.

It's about time Andrew gets some love for his play this season. I know he didn't make the all-star game, but people are saying that if they did it over again he would be an all-star for sure, especially because of how he's been playing lately. The good news is that there is always next year to be an all-star, and maybe he will be one of those every year all-stars. As much crap as this guy has taken in the past for not playing like a number one pick, he has come around of late and been playing awesome.

Congrats to the big guy, and maybe this is just the start of Mr. Bogut being talked about when the top centers in the league are mentioned. He is quickly making a name for himself, and is leading his team as they make a run at the playoffs. My guess is that if we would have taken Marvin Williams this team would not be as good as they are now with the man from the land down under.
