Brewers Fall to the Padres

Zing - Despite not having the record to show it thus far, the Brewers are having a pretty good Spring Training. Each day, there are plenty of things good to talk about both on the mound and at the plate. Things slowed down a bit though for the Brewers on Wednesday, as they fell to the Padres 5-4. One of the bright spots was once again Gregg Zaun, who was 2-for-3 with an RBI. At this point, everything Gregg Zaun does is going to be acceptable in my book, simply because of the guy he's replacing in Jason Kendall. Kind of like how I love Aaron Rodgers so much, because the guy who he's replacing was such a douchebag.

Boom - Some decent offensive performances for the Brewers in the loss, as they got an RBI each from Hernan Iribarren, Alcides Escobar, and Lorenzo Cain.

Tararrel - We haven't mentioned Scott Schoeneweis too much yet on The Bucky, mainly because I still haven't learned how to correctly type his name from memory. But he had a nice inning of work, striking out two batters one of which was stud Adrian Gonzalez.

Puke - Yovani Gallardo got Jeff Suppan disease and gave up three runs in the first inning, but it was a three run shot from Will Venable, so it wasn't like he got completely drilled. Plus, I have Venable in the deepest keeper league ever, so I wasn't even mad. Ryan Braun had a tough afternoon, going 0-for-3.
