Brewers Made Play For Dye
Just wanted to pass along an interesting article as you wind down your work week. Apparently, the Brewers were in discussions to sign free agent outfielder Jermaine Dye this, but obviously nothing materialized. Had they signed him, Corey Hart and his .127 batting average could have been sent to Washington. What would we have gotten from Washington? I don't even want to begin to speculate, but you'd have to think it would be a pitcher of some sort. Again, none of this happened, but it's fun to speculate nonetheless. What do you think, would this have been a good move for the Crew?
