I Think We Might Be Ready Soon

So things are looking a little bit different around here, as you can hopefully tell. There are still a few housecleaning changes to be made, but I think this is the layout I'm going with. Notice the new Bucky logo not only has a 2.0 under the "BC" on his chest, but also a nice Axford stash. Sometimes, it's the little things.

While I've been teasing an official relaunch of November 1st, I think I'm ready to go. I'm heading to Madison this weekend so I think on Sunday I'm going to really dive back into this thing. In addition to Gweeds, seven other people have volunteered to contribute to the site and I hope to have some posts from them in the upcoming days so that you can kind of get to know them a little bit. I've changed it so that you can tell who has written a post at the beginning of the article, instead of trying to decipher if it's me or Gweeds that is writing a recap. Again, it's the little things.

(One thing I need to figure out is why the text shrinks up after the first paragraph. I'll be working on that during the next couple of days as well.)

I don't know what the future of this site truly holds, but I'm a lot more optimistic about it then I've ever been. Honestly, we all knew that this site was dying, and something needed to be changed. With the additional staff and the new layout, I'm feeling recharged and ready to provide a true place for fans all over Wisconsin to come and share their opinions. By November 1st we should be a true site with continuous posting, but I'm going to get things rocking and rolling this weekend.

Thanks for your patience during this transition and really, I can't express how excited I am for the new layout and the new format. I'm not sure if we'll ever be "Deadspin Wisconsin" like I dream of being, but I can tell you that we're going to be a lot better off than we were in the past. Stay tuned.
