Quick Bucks Notes

Sorry about the lack of Bucks posts of late. They haven't really been anything to brag about, but still they have some news to talk about. So I'm just going to throw out some quick hits, and hope to get back on track tonight with recaps of the games.

* Chris Douglas-Roberts is in a Bucks uniform for the first time all season. He played his first game with the Bucks Saturday night playing 19 minutes and scoring 11 points. I really like his scoring off the bench. Now if we can just get Delfino back.

* Saturday night the Bucks were able to take down the Bobcats. All five starters scored in double figures, but Jennings led the way with 32 points. Larry Sanders made his first ever start scoring 10 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Bucks take care of the Bobcats at home 104-101.

* Monday night the Jazz just blew the Bucks out of the water. In his second game as a Buck, Chris Douglas-Roberts was about the only bright spot for his new team. He finished the game with 19 points and 4 rebounds. Bogut, Gooden, and Maggette all missed the game. The Bucks never had a shot in this 109-88 beat down they took from the Jazz.

* Wednesday night the Bucks were not able to handle the Nuggets in Denver. After a good first half they fell apart in the second half. Carmelo Anthony was ejected, but the Nuggets were still able to hold off the Bucks. Larry Sanders had his best game as a pro finishing with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 blocks. I would love to see Bogut and Sanders play together sometime soon. J.R. Smith was able to keep the Nuggets ahead of the Bucks 105-94.

* Bucks waived Darington Hobson Thursday, and signed Brian Skinner in his place. With Bogut being out this team is lacking at the center spot. I guess for now this is a good move, but a little upset that they gave up so early on Hobson. He has the body to maybe be a good NBA player. I know he was out for the year, but for what they were paying him it would have been nice to keep him. So not sure when or if Skinner will be playing anytime soon, but keep your eyes open for him.

Milwaukee will be back at it again Saturday night when the Magic come to town. Dwight Howard didn't play in Friday nights game, so he will be a game time decision. The flu bug must be going around the NBA too, as a few other Magic players missed Fridays game. I hope none of the Bucks are sick, because we are already short handed because of injury. Tip is at 7:30 in the Bradley Center. The Heat come to town Monday, so Milwaukee will have their hands full in the next two games. Not a great schedule for a team that is 6-12 and looking to start a winning streak.
