I'm not sure exactly why this song was ever written, why this video was ever made, or what this girl is trying to pull off. But whether those involved intended to or not, they have found a way to create the worst song in the history of music. Without spoiling anything, I'll let you have a listen:
OMG right! I mean, you know any song that includes the lyrics "Yesterday was Thursday. Today it is Friday. We we we so excited, we gonna have a ball today. Tomorrow is Saturday, and Sunday comes afterwards..." is going to be dreadful, but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out if this thing is real or not. The song shot to 6.5 million YouTube views in just five days with thanks to comedian Daniel Tosh's blog, Twitter, and Facebook, but the comments have been lambasting here to the point where the singer, Rebecca Black, should be embarrassed to ever show her face again. Or was the point not to create a hit, but to in fact create a video so bad that it turned her from just another face in the crowd to teenage superstar? Honestly, the song is a bit catchy, but the writing is just so dreadful that the song is more depressing than anything else. What do you think? Worst song ever, or genius comedic marketing maneuver?
