Few Tickets Remain for Driver's Softball Game

While the NFL Lockout rages on, you still have the chance to see your favorite Packers players hitting the field for some competition. The location is a little smaller than Lambeau Field, and the rules are a whole lot different, but fans should still be able to have a great time at the Donald Driver Celebrity Softball game at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton this weekend. From the Timber Rattlers press release:

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers will join Driver on the offensive team. Driver’s fellow receivers Antonio Robinson and Chastin West; tight ends Jemichael Finley, Tom Crabtree, DJ Williams, and Andrew Quarless; offensive linemen Bryan Baluga, Josh Sitton, Marshall Newhouse, and TJ Lang; and quarterback Matt Flynn are also on the offense’s roster.

Charles Woodson and Nick Collins headline the defensive roster for the game with defensive backs Pat Lee and Davon House; long snapper Brett Goode; linemen Ricky Elmore and Mike Neal; punter Tim Masthay; kicker Mason Crosby; and linebackers DJ Smith and Frank Zombo.

As of Thursday morning, there are around 500 general admission tickets remaining for Sunday’s game. If fans are interested in attending, they should stop by the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Ticket Office at Time Warner Cable Field or call 800-WI-TIMBER or (920) 733-4152 before all the tickets are gone. The ticket office is open until 5:00pm on Thursday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Friday and from 10:00am to 3:00pm on Saturday. The general admission tickets are $10.

This is a game that personally I have never been to, but am making the trip for the first time ever this year. I called on Thursday morning and was still able to pick up grass seats, so hopefully you'll be able to join me.
