Despite their 2-5 record coming into this game, Bo Ryan knew the Idaho State Bengals were not a team to be overlooked. Fresh off of a win against Utah, the Bengals proved they could give 4o minutes of competitive basketball on any given night. But despite Ryan's warnings, overlooking this team is exactly what the Badgers seemed to do.
But despite the comeback efforts, the Badgers never gave into the Bengals, even as they pulled to within one with about three seconds to play. Wisconsin has lost to below-average teams at the Kohl Center before, and they weren't about to do it again on Tuesday night.
Leading the way for Bucky was Jason Bohannon, who had 18 points in the game. Marcus Landry added 14 points in the Badgers 60-58 victory.
The Badgers improve to 56-4 in non-conference games at home under Ryan. Their next matchup is another one of those games, as they welcome UW-Green Bay this Saturday.
