The Mailbox

It's a column idea popular with many internet writers, so I am going to go ahead and give it a try. It's my first look at my mailbox! (these are real emails, from real readers. also some also sent me their websites to promote, but I'm leaving them off for now)

Q: Hello Bart Winkler. Try our new solution to gain your dream girl. Man Medicine.

Bart Winkler: Hey, thanks for reading my column! I started it about a year ago as a way to blog about 24, and will start them up again whenever the new episodes finally air. Until then, enjoy my other various blogs about sports, and television.

Q: 24 Free Porn Sites Available Today!

BW: Another 24 question, thank you. I'm not sure when it will return, my best guess is that we won't see the first episodes of season 7 until fall 2008.

Q: Good Evening Bart Winkler, more saaatisfaction - more viiiiiaaaaaagra.

BW: Well, I actually did get the chance to go to one of the Iowa Caucuses last Thursday down in Lansing. It was one of the more interesting things I've ever witnesses, especially at the Democratic caucus. Instead of just polling for who they like, they have to actually get up and stand together. The party chair would say, "Alright, if you like Clinton, go over there, if you like Obama, stand near the doorway. Edwards supporters, there is a table there you can stand by..." It was incredible.

Q: Happy New Year! Wishing you a successful and prosperous 2008.

BW: You too! So far, can't complain. Except for my Wild Card picks. I went 0 for 2 yesterday, and those were the games I actually bet on. Just kidding, that's illegal. But I did get the Giants one right today.

Q: Happy New Year! Free Shipping + Up to 75% Off - Shop now at allposters.com!

BW: I am very worried about the Seahawks coming to Lambeau next week. I'll have a preview later in the week, and also a recap of the game, which I'll luckily be attending. To answer your other question, I think the Cowboys, struggling and all, will kill the Giants.

Q: Bartwinkler WIN XXXmas promo! 15 sites for free!

BW: I haven't seen that video, but I'm still going through a love/hate with Youtube. There is nothing more annoying to me than the "video of the week", you know the one that someone in the office finds and then plays repeatedly in the office. And then everyone else in the office gathers around that computer to watch it as well, all laughing. And you're sitting at the other end of the office, keeping your mouth shut about how you already saw that one two weeks ago, and therefore think you are better than them. That's what I don't like about youtube. I do like the Chocolate Rain song though!

Q: compliments winksgopack. Our toooooppp offffeeeerrrrsss for you on phaaarrrmmmm

BW: I actually think Bill Richardson had the best debate last night for the Democratics, and even though he's the odd man out of the big three, he's setting himself up nice for a Vice Presidential bid. Edwards took an interesting approach, sort of teaming up with Obama as the much talked about "agent of change", and is trying to weed Hillary out of the race. Hillary was right though when she said how she has to be considered change, she's a woman! I also liked her comment about how not being likeable, "hurts her feelings". Obama didn't do anything to slow down his momentum either.

As for the Republicans, the theme of the night was attack Mitt Romney, and I think he will suffer in the New Hampshire primary, effectively ending his campaign. McCain and Huckabee kind of just sat back and didn't try to hurt themselves, but both took cheap shots on Romney. Guiliani talked about September 11, surprise. Ron Paul I really liked. Fred Thompson had a good debate too, and was the "class clown" of the group.

I think though that Clinton and McCain take New Hampshire.

Q: Hi bartwinkler top viiiiaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

BW: I think I already answered this question.

Q: You Dont please with your instrument size. Women joke at you. Solve this problem now.

BW: I did see the Seal concert on ice after the New Year's Day hockey game on NBC. It was fantastic! Love the new album too, especially his lead single, Amazing.

Q: ciiiiiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllliiiiiiiiiiisssssssssss

BW: I thought it was an incredible moment, something I've never seen before. All the candidates (the major ones anyone) on the same stage at the same time. Ladies and gentlemen, our next President is on this stage.

That's all for now, still just starting this blog so not a lot of email yet. If you have a question, email me at winksgopack@yahoo.com and you could be in the next Mailbox. Talk to you soon.
