Rockies Charge Back to Beat Brewers

Oh, Guillermo Mota. You've really turned into one of my favorite Brewers, with our flamboyant flare after you get out of an inning. But there's a couple of things I'd wish you'd do differently. First off, it's time to get ride of that Mets glove. If you're going to wear the blue glove, let's invest in a little darker shade to match your current team. Second, you can't give up four runs in an inning and give the game away.

I'll forgive him eventually, but it looked like the Brewers would come away with a better result than the 6-4 loss they suffered Friday night in Colorado. They got off to the early lead, and then extended it with 5th inning home runs by Russell Branyan and J.J. Hardy. The Brewers added another in the 7th, but it wasn't enough to protect them from the 5 run 8th the Rockies put on the board.

The Brewers and Rockies are in action again tonight, first pitch at 7:05pm.

Box Score.
