Bush Agrees to Contract

On the same day that one Bush said his farewell, another Bush made plans to stick around just a little while longer. Technically, Dave Bush was going to be a Brewer next year anyway, but now the contract is official as he and the Brewers have avoided arbitration.

Bush will be pitching in Milwaukee for $4 million dollars next season, which is $1.45 million more than he made last season. The Brewers will depend heavily on Bush next season, as he will be the number three starter barring another Manny Parra implosion. Nothing too exciting about this, except that the Brewers now just have the contracts of Fielder, Weeks, McClung, and Hart to work out before the season.
