Wait, WHAT???

For some reason, I didn't really think it was that big of a deal that the Brewers agreed to a sponsorship with Potawatomi Bingo and Casino. Sure, it's illogical for the MLB to let the Brewers have this agreement while still keeping Pete Rose out of the hall because of gambling, but no sport is perfect (although to Poto's credit, they do not have a sportsbook).

But as I kept going along with my daily life, I found more and more people upset with the current arrangement. The Brew Town Beat even said it was a Sign of the Apocalypse, so finally my curiosity got the best of me. That's when I found out the horrible, horrible truth.

Your Milwaukee Brewers are now known as Milwaukee Brewers Baseball presented by Potawatomi Bingo Casino.

This name will never be said during games or show up on the logo. It won't be referenced in the standings or appear on the uniforms. But make no mistake, their presence will be felt, and it will be annoying. I'm sorry, but I never win at that casino, so they are getting no good publicity from me (although, seriously, they have the best parking garage in the world).

Ladies and gentlemen, the Milwaukee Brewers are the new Bank One Bears.
