Bucks Sign Their Big Man

The Bucks have reportedly found their backup to Andrew Bogut. Hoopshype is reporting the Bucks have agreed to terms with Francisco Elson, who last year played with both the Spurs and the Sonics.

“I had a great conversation with the coach (Scott Skiles) and I feel this is the place I can contribute the most with my position and have an impact,” Elson said. “The team looks great, the guys are great, the staff is great. I’m very excited to be a part of their organization and I really look forward to playing. The organization is committed to win and I want to be a part of that.”

JS Online has more info on the latest Bucks acquistion, as the team continues to pick up role players for the '08-'09 season. Earlier I was convinced they'd try to move Mo Williams, but it seems they will go ahead with him as the starting point guard. I'm not sure they make too many other moves before the season starts, unless there is another random, cheap, big man out on the market.
