Gallardo, Gamel Lead Brewers Over Braves

The Saturday night game between the Brewers and the Braves is almost over, so let's keep the Friday night recap short and sweet. The Brewers were lead by their young stars to notch a 4-0 victory over the Atlanta Braves. This game was pretty much in the hands of Gamel and Gallardo, and it's a tough call between them for player of the game. Here's what they did to contribute:

Yovani Gallardo - 8 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 4 BB, 6 K, saved the bullpen.
Mat Gamel - 2-RBI double, RBI single, steps up at third because Bill Hall sucks.

It's tough, but I think you gotta go with Gallardo on this one. He's definitely flashing ace-like stuff this season, and you have to think he's a lock to make the All-Star game at this point. But Gamel will get plenty more chances to win the Player of the Game, because Hall is beyond dreadful at this point.

As I write this, the Crew is currently up over Atlanta 3-0 in the 8th, as Prince Fielder as two bombs. Recap coming shortly...
