Did you this successful mixed martial arts fighter is none other than Herbert "Whisper" Goodman, a former running back for the Packers in the early part of the decade? Do you even remember Herbert "Whisper" Goodman? Man, that was a long time ago.
Personally, I always liked this guy, and I remember being bummed he didn't make the roster for the 2002 season after a successful stint in the NFL Europe (remember when that existed?). This from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: Goodman, 30, has an 8-3 record at middleweight (185 pounds) and is considered a rising star in the sport. On Saturday, he will headline an MMA show at State Fair Park called Gladiators Fighting 52 "Thunderdome."
