Quick Turnbow update for you Brew Crew fans. It looks like Turnbow is heading down to Nashville where presumably he'd spend the rest of the season, barring a miraculous turnaround. The Brewers are a little tight-lipped, but Turnbow has most likely been placed on waivers. With a $3.2 million salary, a team would be foolish to pick him up.
It seemed like the Mets would be a possible trade suitor, but the teams weren't able to work out a deal. Rumors had a few other teams in the mix, but those teams were never disclosed. So presumably, Turnbow will finish the year in Class AAA and then he and the Brewers will part ways.
Update: Turnbow has accepted his assignment to Class AAA Nashville. He will report Monday.
