Badgers Bounce Hoosiers In Regular Season Finale

The Wisconsin Badger men finished up their regular season on a good note, beating the Indiana Hoosiers 85-61. That win gives the Badgers a 10-8 record in the Big Ten Conference and a 19-11 record overall. That is good enough for the 4 seed in the Big Ten tourney.

Leading scorer for the Badgers was Joe Krabbenhoft with 19. Jason Bohannon racked up 15 as well for Bucky. Senior Marcus Landry ended his regular season with 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. It was the last time Wisconsin Seniors Marcus Landry, Joe Krabbenhoft, Kevin Gullikson, and Morris Cain would play in front of the home crowd.

I would fully expect the Badgers to get into the field of 65, but I would feel much better if they won at least one game in the conference tourney to get to 20 wins on the season. Not much else to say at this point, the Conference Tournament should say a lot as to whether the Badgers end up with a 6 or 7 seed or a 10 or 11 seed.

Box Score

Bucky kicks off it's Big Ten Tournament on Friday March 13th against the 5 seed Ohio State. The game should tip off at 1:30 on ESPN at the Conseco Field House in Indianapolis, Indiana with the winner to face off against the winner of the Michigan State vs. Minnesota/Northwestern matchup.
