J.J. Hardy and (No) Arbitration

Hey! This is a good sign. Anytime you can avoid arbitration is fine with me. Hardy has agreed to a one-year deal worth around 2.725 million, according to Tom Haudricourt. Amazingly, this means Doug Melvin has still never gone to arbitration as the Brewers General Manager. Not bad. Maybe they can come up with a long-term deal at some point in the season.
