Badgers Shut Down Wolverines

This is the kind of Wisconsin basketball I remember. Low-scoring! Ugly! Victory! The Badgers beat Michigan today 51-34 to combine for the fewest points (85) in a game in Big Ten tournament history. The Badgers held Michigan to just 10 of 50 from the field, but didn't shoot much better as they went 17 of 50. Against a good team, that might not cut it. But against Michigan, it'll be just fine, no matter what Dana Jacobson thinks. The leading scorer for the Badgers was Joe Krabbenhoft with 12 points, Michael Flowers had 11.

It may have been ugly, but that's how the Badgers win games (but seriously, they need to work on that if there are going to go anywhere in the tourney). Their next game is tomorrow at 12:40, against Michigan State in a Big Ten semifinal game.
