Brewers 6, Cubs 4

The Brewers continued to play good spring baseball as they downed the Baby Bears, 6-4. The win puts The Crew atop the Major League lead in spring wins, with a record of 9-4.

Winning pitcher Dave Bush put away a rough first inning where he gave up three runs, and went on to strike out four while shutting out the Cubs in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th innings. Bush was also instrumental on offense as he was 1-1, with an RBI, a run, and a walk. Milwaukee took the lead with a four run 2nd inning off Cubs pitcher Rich Hill and never looked back. Brewers young arm Manny Parra looked good in a middle relief appearance, pitching four scoreless while allowing one hit and striking out 3.

Milwaukee plays the San Francisco Giants Tuesday at 3:05. Remember to catch the Brewers Friday, live on FSN as they take on the San Diego Padres at 9 pm. I realize that it's a Friday but whether at a bar or using the DVR option, it should be worth a look.
