Tournament Time in Wisconsin

The Badgers quest for the Big Ten title is just one of the highlights of a busy week of basketball in the Badger State.

The Division III Men's NCAA Tournament begins this weekend, and three state teams have qualified.

UW-Whitewater (24-4) will face Loras College of Iowa (21-6) at 8 p.m. Friday at Whitewater. The winner of that game will face the winner of Lawrence University (22-2) and Wheaton (19-7). That game is at 6 p.m. Friday.

UW-Stevens Point (22-6) travels to St. Thomas of Minnesota to play the University of Chicago (18-7) at 6 p.m. Friday

The WIAA State Tournament is this weekend as well. Here is the schedule for the weekend:

Thursday, March 6

9:05 a.m. Regis (21-3) vs. Iola-Scandinavia (23-2) - D3
10:45 a.m. Aquinas (22-3) vs. Dominican (24-1) - D3

1:35 p.m. Madison Memorial (21-2) vs. Badger (18-5) - D1
3:15 p.m. Oshkosh West (17-7) vs. Germantown (22-1) - D1

6:35 p.m. Bay Port (21-2) vs. Brookfield Central (18-4) - D1
8:15 p.m. Eau Claire North (18-4) vs. Wauwatosa East (23-1) - D1

Friday, March 7

9:05 a.m. Luck (23-2) vs. Suring (25-0) - D4
10:45 a.m. Eleva-Strum (25-0) vs. Randolph (24-1) - D4

1:35 p.m. Adams-Friendship (17-8) vs. Plymouth (22-3) - D2
3:15 p.m. Monroe (23-2) vs. New Berlin Eisenhower (21-4) - D2

6:35 p.m. Division 1 semifinal (Thursday afternoon winners)
8:15 p.m. Division 1 semifinal (Thursday evening winners)

Saturday, March 8

12:05 p.m. Division 4 Championship Game
1:45 p.m. Division 2 Championship Game

6:35 p.m. Division 3 Championship Game
8:15 p.m. Division 1 Championship Game
