Brewers 10, Cubs 6

Among the things lost in the mayhem that was The Day Favre Retired was the first Brewers / Cubs meeting of the year. And as far as Spring Training games go, this was a good one. Tied at six in the top of the tenth, Gabe Gross hit a 2 run home run as the Brewers went on to beat the Cubs 10-6. Yeah, it's just a Spring Training game, but it's always good to get a win against your rivals.

Tony Gwynn Jr. also hit a home run today. Gywnn has never hit a home run in his over 200 major league at bats. And how much are the Brewers going to miss Mike Cameron during his 25 game suspension? The red-hot Cameron is batting .357, and added a home run in today's game as well. How did the Cubs big free agent signing Kosuke Fukudome do? Well, 3-3 with a home run is pretty good, I guess.

Box Score.
