Brewers Make First Roster Move

Good morning, friends. A couple of quick notes today before the Brewers take on the Reds in the rubber match. First, Tony Gwynn Jr. has been sent to the 15-day DL in the first roster move of the season. In his place, they've called up Hernan Iribarren from Class AAA Nashville. They've also recalled Yovani Gallardo from his minor-league rehabilitation assignment in Nashville but didn't activate him.

So Iribarren is likely up for a cup of coffee until Gwynn returns, but someone needs to be moved to make room for Yovanni. Haudricourt thinks it could be any one of Villanueva, Parra, Bush, McClung, or Turnbow.

Also, lineup looks the same today. Gross is still in at center, even though he's batting .091.
